Identification Of Excluded Areas For Aquaculture In Canterbury

As part of the process of planning for aquaculture development, the Regional Council has identified areas in the Coastal Marine Area where no Aquaculture Management Areas can be established. Other areas of the CMA can be developed if and when the Council proceeds to invite Private Plan Changes through the process set out in the Resource Management Act.
