Canterbury Regional Passenger Transport Plan 2006


The purpose of the Canterbury Regional Passenger Transport Plan (RPTP) is to provide guidance for Environment Canterbury in the provision of public passenger transport services. The RPTP sets out Environment Canterbury's objectives and policies within 5 Policy Areas.

• Providers of Services and Infrastructure
Public passenger transport services covered by this plan include services provided under contract to Environment Canterbury utilising small passenger service vehicles (taxis and minibuses), as well as large passenger service vehicles(buses) and the Lyttelton Harbour Ferry. The plan covers the whole Canterbury Region.
