Christchurch Rolleston Transportation Study

The Christchurch Rolleston and Environs Transportation Study (CRETS), which looked at the long term transport needs for areas south and west of Christchurch, has now been completed with receipt of the final report from consultants Connell Wagner. 

The study partners Transit New Zealand, the Selwyn, City and Regional Councils and Christchurch International Airport are expected to meet in the New Year to discuss the consultants recommended transport strategy. The strategy presents a significant contribution to the future planning of Greater Christchurch and all agencies will use this information as they work together to develop a coordinated transport implementation plan for the Urban Development Strategy.
