• Navigation Safety Bylaws 2005

  This document contains the 2005 Navigation Safety Bylaws for all inland navigable waters and selected coastal waters in the Canterbury Region. It came into force on the 1st December 2005. 

• Regional Coastal Environment Plan
  This plan promotes the sustainable management of the natural and physical resources of the Coastal Marine Area and the coastal environment and its integrated management. It sets out the issues relating to protection and enhancement of the coast, water quality, controls on activities and structures and coastal hazards.
