Annual Environmental Incidents and Enforcement Report 2002 - 2003

Environment Canterbury is responsible for promoting the sustainable management of natural and physical resources in Canterbury. A critical part of this is responding to environmental incidents and taking enforcement action where necessary. Environment Canterbury’s Enforcement Unit carries out this role. This report is the second annual report prepared for the Enforcement Unit and it describes positive professional incident response in tandem with firm, fair and consistent enforcement practices.
