Charlesworth Public Planting Day

AIM: For community volunteers to plant 2000+ coastal bush, shrubland and marsh plants as part of the habitat restoration of Charlesworth Wetland Reserve.
 
GROUPS INVOLVED: CCC Regional Parks Team, Trees for Canterbury, Avon-Heathcote Estuary Ihutai Trust, Environment Canterbury, local Brookhaven Residents and members of the wider Christchurch community.
 
Public Planting: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. 

Meeting Point:  Charlesworth Reserve Carpark - on Charlesworth Street, Christchurch.

Postponment date:  Sunday 1 June.  Will only be postponed if weather is absolutely shocking (Newstalk ZB).
