• Decide how many spill stations you need and where they should be located.
• Look at the materials used on site and decide on equipment to include in each spill kit.
• Put a complete spill kit at each spill station.
• Add an emergency phone list, Spill Procedure and a site drainage plan.
• Include appropriate posters, information sheets and Safety Data Sheets for relevant materials.
• Train your staff on how to prevent and handle spills.
