As with storm water drains, it is important to identify sewers on your site:
- Label sewers in red to show they carry dirty or contaminated flows.
- Any waste pipes found to be connected to the storm water system should be reconnected to the sewer system immediately.
- Any unknown drains or pipes need to be investigated and identified as a priority.
Only trade waste should go into the trade waste line, which feeds into the sewer.
