• Mayfield - Arundel Rakaia Gorge Road (beside Mayfield Tavern)

• Aluminium and tin/steel cans,
• Milk cartons (rinsed), egg cartons, flattened cardboard
• Glass containers (rinsed)
• All paper

Domestic hazardous waste drop off
There is no operational domestic hazardous waste drop off in Ashburton District. As part of the Hazardous Waste Management Strategy it is proposed to install a domestic hazardous waste drop off at the Ashburton Resource Recovery Park. However, this is not operational yet.

Landfill
There are no operational municipal landfills in the Ashburton District. Waste from Ashburton goes to Kate Valley Sub-Regional Landfill in Hurunui.
