Hurunui District
There is no operational domestic hazardous waste drop off in the Hurunui District. As part of the Hazardous Waste Management Strategy it is proposed to install a domestic hazardous waste drop off at the Amberley transfer station. However, this is not operational yet.

Waimakariri District
Domestic hazardous waste can be dropped off for disposal at Oxford and Southbrook Waste Transfer Stations.

There is no operational domestic hazardous waste drop off point in Selwyn District. As part of the Hazardous Waste Management Strategy it is proposed to install a domestic hazardous waste drop off at the Pines Resource Recovery Park. However, it is not operational yet.
