Domestic Hazardous Waste Drop Off
There is no operational domestic hazardous waste drop off in Mackenzie District. As part of the Hazardous Waste Management Strategy it is proposed to install a domestic hazardous waste drop off at the Fairlie Transfer Station. However, this is not operational yet.

Landfill
There are no operational municipal landfills in the Mackenzie District. Waste from Mackenzie District goes to Redruth Landfill.
