Six appeals were originally lodged with the High Court. The appeal by Waimakariri District Council was settled very quickly and was withdrawn.  Subsequently, a number of other submitters filed notices of their intention to join the remaining five appeals and present evidence on certain appeals. Set out below are the five appeals in a table identifying those submitters who "joined" the appeals.

All appeals have now been resolved. The notices of outcome of the appeals and consent orders, as issued by the High Court are also set out below.
