Variation 14 introduces the reduction in separation distances between the point of discharge and groundwater, property boundaries and other discharge systems if drip irrigation land application systems are utilised. In addition, Variation 14 also introduces three other minor changes associated with Rules WQL8 and WQL9. Variation 14 has been incorporated into the hearing process for Variation 1. Stage in the Variation process: Appeals
As of the 23 October 2010, the decisions are considered to have amended the Variation as notified. Any person who made a submission on Variation 1, 2, 4 or 14 has the right to appeal decisions on their submission to the High Court, but only on points of law, within 15 days of receiving notification of decisions. Based on the public notice being mailed on 22 October, the 15 day period ended on 16 November 2010.
