Variation 2 proposes amendments to Schedule WQN9 of Chapter 5 NRRP to improve the method for determining irrigation demand.

Variation 2 was notified on 26 November 2005. Submissions closed on 27 January 2005 and 35 submissions were received.  Further submissions closed on 29 May 2006. Variation 2 will be split into more than one officer report so that it can be incorporated into Variation 1 hearings. Decisions on submissions were publicly notified on 23 October 2010. Stage in the Variation process: Appeals

As of the 23 October 2010, the decisions are considered to have amended the Variation as notified. Any person who made a submission on Variation 1, 2, 4 or 14 has the right to appeal decisions on their submission to the High Court, but only on points of law, within 15 days of receiving notification of decisions. Based on the public notice being mailed on 22 October, the 15 day period ended on 16 November 2010. Appeal advice (pdf 28 kB).
