Gravel extracted under Chapter 6, Rule BLR3 of the Natural Resources Regional Plan and Rule 7.1 of the Waimakariri River Regional Plan will not incur the ‘gravel charge’.

 

Consents issued for the maintenance of waterway capacity in the immediate vicinity of culverts and other similar structures, where the gravel is not removed from the bed, will be considered on an individual basis.
