It maybe possible to have a bonfire on the beach as long as certain conditions are met. These conditions relate to seperation distances from other activites and offense to other people.
However, where a beach is included within the Christchurch Clean Air Zones then a bonfire will be prohibited between 1st May and 30th September each year. Please call our Customer Services team to check the specifics of your situation.
