No - all new information will be added to the Listed Land Use Register (LLUR), and the category may change depending on the results of the site investigation.  

That new information will be available to an enquirer, and they then know exactly what risk, if any, the site poses.  This is always better than only knowing about the land use because the risk is unknown. In most cases though, a site investigation is not necessary.
