Environment Canterbury lease and license conditions require lease and license holders of Environment Canterbury leased land to be responsible for the control of pests such as broom, gorse, nassella tussock, nodding thistle and rabbits. On conservation land the Environment Canterbury Property, Parks and Forests section undertakes pest control.
