The decision of Environment Canterbury and Mackenzie District Council  was to grant consent, subject to conditions, to use land for the upgrade of the Twizel Wastewater Treatment Plant; the discharge of treated wastewater onto and into land; and contaminants into air (odour); and confirm the notice of requirement to alter the existing designation of the Twizel Wastewater plant and change its purpose to Wastewater Treatment and Disposal.
