Our Long-Term Plan sets out our service priorities, work programmes and resource requirements such as expenditure and funding for a 10-year period. We produce a new Long-Term Plan every three years, which incorporates our Annual Plan for the first of the three years. A separate annual plan is produced for years two and three. Long-Term Plan 2024-34
We have been working on our next Long-Term Plan, which will cover 2024-2034.
We consulted with the community between 13 March and 14 April 2024. We received a great response, and now we’re busy analysing all this feedback.
Next we’ll be holding hearings, which is when people come in and speak directly with Council about their feedback.
Council will meet in late May to deliberate on the feedback received before directing staff to make changes to the Long-Term Plan.
Council will then meet in late June to adopt the final Long-Term Plan for 2024-34.
