Conditions
- Only pelletised wood fuel meeting the following specifications shall be used:
- Fines: 1% maximum through a 3 mm screen;
- Bulk density: 640 kilograms per cubic metre minimum;
- Size: 10 mm maximum diameter and 38 mm maximum length;
- Ash content: 1.0% maximum (dry basis);
- Moisture Content: 4% to 9% (dry basis); and
- Heat content: 18 MJ/kg to 21 MJ/kg (dry basis).
- The pelletised wood fuel shall comprise only sawdust and/or wood-shavings from wood that has not been treated with any chemicals except non-chlorinated anti-sapstain chemicals.
- The appliance shall be operated at all times in accordance with the "Installation and Operating Instructions" supplied with each appliance.
- A permanent label shall be attached to each appliance in a position that is readily visible after installation. The labels shall contain the following information:
- The manufacturer of the appliance (OkoFEN);
- The unique model name (Pellematic PES 32);
- The unique serial number of the appliance;
- The number of the test report in which the appliance is described (K 2471 2018 T1);
- The authorisation number (231551);
- The approved fuel for use in the heater (pellets);
- The measured (average) particulate emission rate in grams per kilogram (0.13 g/kg);
- The measured emission rate per unit of useful heat output (7.3 mg/MJ);
- The percentage measure of thermal efficiency (88%);
- The range of heat outputs tested (9.6 kW – 31.2 kW);
- The statement "Performance may vary from test values depending on the actual operating conditions"; and
- Space to allow the installer to place the date of installation.
- This approval applies only to the specific model described in the testing reports, documents and drawings accompanying the application for authorisation.

Any necessary building consents, for the installation of the appliance, must be obtained from the appropriate district or city council.
