  1. Advice note:
    Any necessary building consents, for the installation of the appliance, must be obtained from the appropriate district or city council.
  2. This approval applies only to the specific model described in the testing reports, documents and drawings accompanying the application for authorisation.
  3. A permanent label shall be attached to each appliance in a position that is readily visible after installation. The label shall contain the following information:
    1. The manufacturer of the appliance (Pioneer Manufacturing Limited);
    2. The unique model name (Metro Ultra Wee Rad);
    3. The unique serial number of the appliance;
    4. The number of the test report in which the appliance is described (0630);
    5. The name and address of the testing agency (Spectrum Laboratories, 9B Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand);
    6. The year in which the testing was completed (2022);
    7. The authorisation number (240084);
    8. The approved fuel for use in the heater (softwood);
    9. The measured (average) particulate emission rate in grams per kilogram (0.50 g/kg);
    10. The measured emission rate per unit of useful heat output (37 mg/MJ);
    11. The percentage measure of thermal efficiency (67%);
    12. The range of average heat outputs tested (6-9 kW);
    13. The maximum average heat output (9 kW);
    14. The statement "Performance may vary from test values depending on the actual operating conditions"; and
    15. Space to allow the installer to place the date of installation.
  4. There shall be no wetback fitted to the appliance.
  5. The appliance shall be operated at all times in accordance with the "Installation & Owner's Operation Manual" supplied with each appliance.
  6. The only fuel to be used in this appliance shall be softwood that meets the following criteria:
    1. Less than 25% moisture (dry weight);
    2. Has not been treated with preservatives or impregnated with chemicals or glue;
    3. Is not chipboard, particle board, or laminated board; and
    4. Is not painted, stained or oiled.
