Notified proposal

We have received an application from Belborough Holdings Ltd CRC190008 to take and use water from the Waitohi River at 55 Costello Road, Hurunui.

It is proposed to take water at a rate not exceeding 50 litres per second, with a daily volume not exceeding 4,320 cubic metres, and an annual volume not exceeding 639,000 cubic metres. The irrigation area is 110 hectares.

The proposed duration sought will expire on 1 January 2035.
