You can submit a request to us at any time through the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act (LGOIMA)1987.
Tips for describing your request
It helps if you are specific and include as much information as possible in your request, such as:
- What the information request relates to (ie resource consent, plan, location, topic, etc)
- Type of information you seek (ie reports, data, financial information, emails, staff correspondence, etc)
- Related factors (ie names of organisations or people involved)
- Timeframe (ie what period does the information relate to).
