We have received an application from Wongan Hills Limited for a water permit to take and use groundwater from bores M36/20733 and M36/20734 at 248 Jones Road, Birdlings Flat.
The applicant seeks to renew their current water permit CRC164338, retaining their existing water volume not exceeding 1,125,000 cubic metres between 1 July and the following 30 June, for irrigation.
Water is to be taken from:
- bore M36/20733 at a rate not exceeding 30 litres a second
- bore M36/20734 at a rate not exceeding 100 litres per second.
The applicant has requested a consent duration of 15 years.
