Winter grazing workshops

Ahead of the 2026 winter grazing season, we’re hosting a series of practical workshops across South Canterbury to help protect soil and water during the wetter months. Choose a workshop near you and register below to secure your place.

What: These sessions offer real-world insights, practical tips, and the opportunity to ask questions and get clear guidance for your farm.

Workshop dates and locations: See the registration form below for full workshop details and select which workshop you’d like to attend.

Who you’ll hear from: Beef + Lamb, DairyNZ and Deer Industry NZ, alongside local farmers and Environment Canterbury land management advisors

A certificate of attendance will be provided to support farm audits. Hot drinks and snacks will also be available.

  • 17 June (Wednesday) 2pm to 5pm — Waimate Library, Waimate
  • 1 July (Wednesday) 2pm to 5pm — Geraldine Library, Geraldine
