Action J: Support Papatipu Rūnanga with climate action and provide opportunities for involvement with Environment Canterbury climate action projects to the extent they so wish
This action aims to ensure that we understand the climate action requirements of Papatipu Rūnanga and promotes climate action partnerships and priorities desired by Papatipu Rūnanga.
This action will be of most benefit to urban and rural communities at risk from all hazards.

Action K: Continue to integrate climate change into council instruments and decision-making processes
This action seeks to embed climate change and greenhouse gas objectives, scenarios, risks and impacts into all council processes and planning to ensure that we deliver effective climate change outcomes within our role as Regional Council.
This action will be of most benefit to urban and rural communities at risk from all hazards, and provides an emissions reduction opportunity for all sectors.

Action L: Empower equitable, innovative, and collective climate action across Waitaha/Canterbury
This action seeks to enable and support Papatipu Rūnanga, individuals, organisations and hāpori/communities to take innovative and collaborative steps toward understanding, assessing and responding to the impacts of climate change.
This action will be of most benefit to urban and rural communities at risk from all hazards. This action provides an emissions
reduction opportunity for all sectors and a carbon sequestration opportunity from forestry and on-farm climate action.
