Rural farm waste survey - Terms and conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to the farm waste survey prize draw.
- To enter, you must complete the Tonkin + Taylor survey (on behalf of Environment Canterbury) by 11:59pm, Friday 24 April 2026.
- To be eligible for the prize, you must:
- Be a Canterbury resident
- Complete the survey
- Opt to leave your contact details within the survey
- The prize is native plants to the value of $2,000 (excl. GST) from Wai-Ora Nursery.
- The winner will be drawn on Tuesday 28 April 2026 and notified by phone and/or email.
- To redeem the prize, Environment Canterbury staff will connect the winner with Wai-Ora Nursery to select native plants up to the prize value.
- Any costs above $2,000 (excl. GST) must be paid by the prize winner, including:
- Additional plants
- Delivery costs (if applicable)
- The prize must be claimed by 11 May 2026.
- Environment Canterbury reserves the right to redraw a new winner if the prize has not been claimed by this date.
- Those not eligible for entry into the competition is anyone who works for Environment Canterbury and their immediate family members. This includes but is not limited to Elected Members and their immediate family members; and Council staff and their immediate family members.
- The winner may be announced on Environment Canterbury’s social media and other relevant channels.
