McAlpine Limited Rangiora

Commissioner Shearer has granted the application subject to conditions for McAlpine Limited Rangiora to discharge water and contaminants to land in circumstances which may result in these contaminants (or others emanating as a result of natural processes from these contaminants) entering water (groundwater and the Chatterton River) from a former timber treatment facility now used for storage of treated timber products.  Potential contaminants in the discharge include copper, chromium, arsenic and pentachlorophenol compounds.
