It is proposed to carry out riverbank protection using anchored tree protection (ATP) over lengths of approximately 500m at two locations along the bank of the Waiau River at 303 Leslie Hills Road, Waiau. It is also proposed to discharge sediment to water resulting from the installation of the ATP which will result in disturbances to the riverbed and river banks.

CRC231732: a land use consent (s13) to disturb the bed of a river and install defences against water within the river bed at 303 Leslie Hills Road, Waiau, legally described as Lot 5 and Pt Lot 6 DP21883.

CRC231733: a discharge permit (s15) to discharge sediment to water at 303 Leslie Hills Road, Waiau, legally described as Lot 5 and Pt Lot 6 DP21883.

Any person may make a written submission on any of the above applications.

A submission should include your name, address and phone number; the applicant’s name and consent application number.  A submission must state your reason for submission, whether you support or oppose the application and if you wish to be heard in support of your submission.
