The decision was to grant consent, subject to conditions, for discharge and coastal permits for the proposed construction of a reclamation and a piled wharf to be undertaken in two stages in Te Awaparahi Bay, Lyttelton Harbour/Whakaraupō

The decision of Environment Canterbury and Ashburton District Council is to grant consent, subject to conditions, for the construction, operation and maintenance of the 1.6 million cubic metre water storage pond (Ākarana storage dam ) for  irrigation purposes at 577 Barkers Road, Methven.

The decision was to grant consent, subject to conditions, for discharge and coastal permits for the channel deepening dredging to enable larger vessels to access Lyttelton Port, subsequent maintenace dredging of the channel created after deepening; and dredging of seabed material at Te Awaparahi Bay in preparation for claiming land for an new container facility, in the Lyttelton Harbour.

The joint decision of Environment Canterbury and Waimakariri District Council, for the establishment of three additional sheds and extension of two existing sheds of a poultry broiler operation at 1059 Poyntzs Road, Horrellville, was partially granted by enabling the extension to the two existing sheds only, and subject to conditions.

The decision was to grant, with conditions, for the discharge of treated wastewater to surface water from the Hanmer Springs wastewater treatment plant into the Chatterton River.

The decision was to grant, with conditions, a discharge permit to discharge treated wastewater; and a land use for  a community wastewater treatment system – the Waikari Wastewater treatment plant at Waikari.

The decision was to grant, with conditions a discharge permit to discharge odour and dust from a poultry broiler farm operation at 3307 South Eyre Road, Oxford.
